My 2nd Great Grandfather was George Purdy born 31 Jan 1808 in New York or Connecticut. He lived in Town of Kent, Putnam Co, NY. He married Abigail Light abt 1828. They had several children and moved to Dearborn Township, Wayne, Michigan. George died 11 Feb 1894 in Michigan. (her parents can't be found either)

My brother did the FamilyTree DNA for me and we found that we descend to Francis Purdy of Rye but can't find the pieces of the puzzel of which family might have been George's parents.

Do any of you have a George Purdy in your lines that might be my GG Grandfather?
