My grandfather, Victor Puopolo, came from Italy to Ellis Island in January 1900.
He traveled with his father, Rocco and an uncle Giuseppe Puopolo. They all traveled
to Boston and settled in the North End of Boston. He married Mary Mangino from Queens, NY
in St. Leonards Church and had 3 sons and 6 daughters. The family moved to Avon, MA and they were
raised there. Two boys still are alive and 5 daughters. My father Rocco was the eldest of
the children. He died at the age of 91 1n 1907. He moved to Washington Dc in 1936 and I was
born there. I lived in New Jersey from 1970 to1998. I moved to Reno, NV in 1998.
My home address is: 12695 Fieldcreek Lane in Reno, Nv 89511. It is possible that you are
related to my granfather's uncle Giuseppe. What to hear from you..Joe Popolo

My grandfather, Michael Matthew Puopolo and my grandmother Olga Cuginni both came from Italy as children. somewhere around the ages of 10 or 12 and in about 1915. They settled in Boston, MA and had two children, Louise Puopolo Kilnapp (my aunt) and Michael Joseph Puopolo (my father). I am not sure how many brothers and sisters my grandfather had or the names of his parents. I will ask my father for some of the missing information. Thanks. Incidentally, I live in northeast Florida with my wife and two year old daughter. Joseph Mark Puopolo

My grandfather, Rocco married Felica and came to settle in Boston sometime in the early 1900. They came from Anzano, Italy. They had two children Angelo (my father) and Lucy (who married Mushi). I now live in Cincinnati Ohio. I am married with three children.

Do you happen to know if Rocco (the son) settled in the North End? My great grandfather came over the same year. I think you are saying 1900, right? It seemed like a bunch of them came together but my great grandfather didn't leave much of a trail.

Thanks,
Michael
