Oh my! It's been 5 years and I do hope you are still around. My grandfather, Edward Hopson Pulse, had a child named BUDA MAE Pulse and I don't know what happened to her. Your BUNA MAE was born a couple of years later.

Was william Perry related to Edward Pulse? Were they brothers?

Any information you can give me would be very helpful. I am at a roadblock with Edward Hopson Pulse.

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I am not well and am lucky to be here.

I would appreciate anything you can contribute.

Thank you so very much.

Hello Meganandjj,

Someone recently suggested to me that Edward Hopson Pulse (b. 8 Aug 1899-1901) may be related to Amos, perhaps a son or brother. There is a picture of him in my tree photos (Cravens Family Tree). You can see that he has Indian heritage. I've heard stories that his mother or grandmother was full blood. Stories lost to time...

Edward was born in Macon City, Knox, Missouri.
He married Stella (Wakefield)Campbell, lived in Texas (1928)where my mother was born (Wheeler or Dallas...actually unknown). They didn't stay there for long though because her sister was born 3 years later in Arkansas (1931).

I also found a record where they were at a squaters camp in Oklahoma (1931) just before the sisters birth, and my mother remembered riding on freight cars. I'm guessing they had a hard time of it.

His fathers name was David Pulse and his mother was Barbara Ellen Duggan. Barbara died in or before 1937. Edward was in Alexandria, La. in June of 1937 where he filed for his social security card. The information above was on the application.

Any information would be helpful.

Thank you so very much.
