I have searched through nearly 500 people matching my DNA. So far, I have not found even one Pugh ancestor whatsoever.
If you had your Y-DNA tested and match with my brother's DNA, did you also have the Autosomal test completed. If so, did you get any Pugh matches?
I do have many matches of other surnames who lived in Nansemond County, Virginia, and in Chowan County, North Carolina. They are showing up on my paternal line. I know it is my paternal line because of cousins who participated in the same autosomal test as I, and they are from my maternal line. and therefore, do not match my paternal line. The surnames I'm matching described above are individuals living in the late 1600s and in the 1700s in the areas named above.
I can also say I know my maternal and paternal lines are completely separate because I also have used other results on another website which stated my parents were not related.
If you don't believe I'm telling the truth about this website, google it for yourself. It does exist. I won't give out names of other DNA projects on ancestry. They will remove it due to competition.
