Sherry,
When your Nicola and wife Angela first came to the US they lived at 345 Water St, in Manhattan. That comes from two ship manifests and the 1905 NYS census. I just found the marriage record for Raphaele LaFianza - he would be a brother-in-law to my grandmother Angela Pucciarello, and he was also living at 345 Water St. in 1904. It's a small building with maybe five families. It's reasonable to assume that they must have known each other and if that's true, your Pucciariellos and my Pucciariellos - who both came over from Ferrandino even though that name is not predominant there - had to be related.
Here's my question for you - you say in an earlier post that you found Nicola's father's name - Giovanni - from a marriage record. What record is this? From the US or Italy? And what other pertinent info is on that record? Even some info that may seem unimportant may lead to something...Meanwhile, I'm still searching....Thanks,
John LaFianza
