My grandfathers name was Peter Ptaszynski, and he was married to Celia Sulkowski in Cleveland, Ohio around 1920. Together they had a daughter named Regina, who was my mother. All have past on now, however, I keep searching for infomation on this family who's primary address was near Fleet Ave. in Cleveland, Ohio around the years of 1920 to 1953. They were active in the Catholic Church

Hi Suzanne
I was wondering if we were related in some way. My father in law was Alexander Ptarcinski and I remember him saying that the name used to be spelled as yours is now. His father was Edward and his mother was Eva.
My husband is Edward named after his grandfather. Please let me know if you have any other details or if I am grabbing at straws.

Your spelling of "Ptaszynski" doesn't ring a bell. My father is an Edward (Jr) as was his father, Edward Sr. of course. We are from Stamford Connecticut orginally. I hope this helps.

My grandfather was Joseph Ptaszynski, born in Poland and lived in Luzerne Co., Pa. Moved to Linden, NJ, where he died. Would love to find out more about where he came from in Poland and if he had siblings.
