I am looking for PRYCE/PRICE relatives from Dumbarton in Scotland. I have Patrick PRYCE who married Mary GLANCY before 1874, I think they could of originally been from Ireland or possibly their parents may have been, they had two children that I know of so far John PRYCE born in 1874, he was a famous footballer, and Margaret born about 1883, she married James KANE.

Patrick Pryce and Mary Glancie
Its not much but while researching my own branch of the Pryce family here in Glasgow, Scotland I put down an entry that I found in the Civil registration Index. It was for a John Pryce born 25th January 1874, born in Cadrogen (or Cadross) area of Glasgow. His parents were entered as Patrick Pryce - Ship Yard Labourer and Mary Pryce - born Glancie. It said that they were married in July 1879 in Bonhill, which I think is the Dumbarton area. I should say that I don`t know what if any connection there is with this John Pryce and my own ancestors. My male Pryce grand and great (and so on ) parents were coal miners, I think that they came up from Wales at some point but I`ve got as far as 1830 and not found the link yet.
