Betty Colleen Prybyloski, 79,
of Elizabeth Township, died Wednesday, April 2, 2008, in Montclair, N.J. She was born Dec. 10, 1928,
in Fellsburg to the late Charles and Irene Gillingham Naylor and was the wife of the late Peter T. Prybyloski, who died March 9, 2000.
Betty attended St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Elizabeth Township, was a member and past president of the Central Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed spending time with her friends at the Boston Commons Senior Center. In her earlier years, she loved to go camping with her family. In later years, she was the caregiver for her late husband. In 1976, Betty was a volunteer for the Jimmy Carter presidential campaign, and she also participated in Hands Across America. She had been a beautician in Pittsburgh and worked for Tygart Steel and in the cafetertia at Elizabeth Forward High School. Surviving are daughter Verlee Prybyloski, of Bloomfield, N.J.; son Thomas (Betty Ann) Prybyloski, of Birmingham, Ala.; brother Edward (Ann) Naylor, of Fellsburg; grandson Nick Prybyloski, of Birmingham, and nieces, nephews and many friends. Friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the GILBERT FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, INC., 6028 Smithfield St., Boston, Elizabeth Township, where a service will be at 10 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Rudolph F. Smoley officiating. Interment will follow in Fells Cemetery, Rostraver.
