My grandparents divorced when my father was young, and I've never met my grandfather. I do know his name was James R. Pruchnicki and that the family lived in Flint, Michigan. He died in 2000. I'm not sure what his mother's name was.

I wonder if you are referring to a cousin of mine. He was much older than me, he was a World War 2 vet.His mother was Lucille and his father was Joseph. They lived in Flint, on Saginaw Street, if I remember correctly.
I wrote to Jim, on a Christmas card, some years ago, and he told me his Mom was in a nursing home. My own father was the youngest brother of Joseph Pruchnicki, the father of Jim.

I believe so! My father is James (Jim). His mom and dad were Edith and James. James was the son of Lucille and Joseph, and they also had a daughter Joan. Both Edith and James have passed away.
