A lot of Maryland Proctors claim to be part of this Indian Tribe. Particularly Turkey Tayac (Phillip Sheridan Proctor).

Proctors / Piscataway Tribe. Interesting to say the least, but there is certainly some doubt as to the lineage that has been presented over the years.
