My 91 year old father-in-law, Earl Spencer, served with a Procter at Camp Beauregard in Louisiana for the first couple years of their enlistment. Then they were shipped out to different assignments.
After the war ended, Earl went Cincinnati to visit with his Army bud, only to be told by the butler that he had gone on an extended hunting trip with his father.
My father-in-law told me Procter was of the Procter & Gamble family. He would like to know whatever happened to his Army bud.
