Darlene,

I am doing research on all Probasco families in America. I have done extensive research on your Peter Probasco who married Anna Lott. My conclusion is that he was the son of Peter Probasco and Martha Probasco, 1st cousins who married. If you study both the names of Peter and Hendrick (Henry) in the early Probascos, you will find they are exclusively used by this family. The first Hendrick Probasco so named in the Probasco family was the son of Jacob Probasco b. 1682 and the father of Peter Probasco who married Martha. The first Peter Probasco in the NJ/PA area was the son of Hendrick above, being named for his father-in-law, Peter Covenhoven.
Peter, Martha and family lived in various places including Hillsborough, Trenton and Philadelphia. At one time he had a stagecoach service between Trenton and Philadelphia. He eventually dies in Philadelphia in 1806 leaving his family there living with the oldest son, Hendrick, in 1810.
Peter who married Anna Lott is listed in Philadelphia in the 1825 Philadelphia City Directory along with his brothers, Henry and Simon.

Nora,

I'm sorry, I'm having a brain fart. Where exactly does Hendrick fall into the Probasco line. I am confused on where exactly Peter. husband of Martha, and Hendrick fall into place. Was it Peter, Peter, Jacob and Hendrick.. Sorry for the confusion. How far in the decendency have you gotten with Eliza Ann (Elizabeth) as she was my 3 great grandmother.

Thanks again!
