I also am descended from Sarah and Lawrence Gahagan through Matthias Pringle Gahagan.
My info is that Sarah was born 23Apr1761,m.1788,d.6Oct1848,buried (old)Gahagan cemetery,Madison co.N.C. Sarah Gahagan Swafford b.4Nov.1799,BallyBoy,Ireland. I have notes on Sarah/John Swafford that I am trying to verify. Get in touch: email - ldes@centuryinter.net (small L not capital i)
