Since your post I have found a lot more info on Sophia Priest. I have still not found proof of a marriage however on her daughter's death cert. it listed her father as I. E. Priest. If you are still in need of info e-mail me at bas1952@bellsouth.net and I'll share what I have. In the mean time I'm trying to find James P. Priest her son and the last to die death cert. to see what it says about a father.
