Hi there again,

You are doing such marvelous work. Might I inquire if you are a angel of mercy or if there is a tangental relationship?

BTW, I have written a bit about H. C. Preston's father as part of a genealogy case. For a long time, we called the father, "William Preston - The Other."
Here are the links:
(1) First Article, about Identifying William C. Preston
http://theycamebefore.blogspot.com/2011/06/sheriff-william-p...
(2) Second Article, in which we relate these fine folks to our line:
"Wait--Vermont Families in 1791 is the same work we used to help determine William C. Preston, the other (1797-1869), of St. Joseph, Williams County, Ohio, was not the son of Sheriff William. See the article, 2.06 You do the math. According to the Vermont Families genealogy, William and Elizabeth's son William Preston (b. 1780) and William C. Preston (1797-1869) were first cousins."

Again, TYTY --GJ
