She has done a lot research on her part of the Preston family at the Mercer Co. Courthouse which is
in Harrodsburg. Her grandfather was Squire Jordan Preston who was my grandfather's brother. My grandfather, William Preston, moved away from Ky to Ohio
after he had been married for a while and then went to Oklahoma as homesteader. He died in Okmulgee around 1903 and the rest of his family went
back to Ohio where my mother grew up.
