Pat: Great to hear from a distant relation (through Ruth) - my mother was a Pratt - I met Aunty Elsie when I was about 9 on a family visit to Kingswinford, and corresponded with her from boarding school way back in the early 1950's - I hear that there was an MP in your family - then there was a preacher I think - Around 1960, my parents sold their house to a Rosie Avery, who was living in Bournemouth at that time - I don't remember any other connections. Before TSL died he had John Hartles working for him, he and Elizabeth then emigrated to North America - do you know the details - Leah was working with Ruth at catering in Birmingham, the Hen & Chickens is one location talked about - Ernest was a policeman who married the widow of a Zulu Wars combatant (Sgt Windrush) - see photo of TSL that was dredged from someone's attic - Regards, Ed.
