Born 1846 in Ontario County, New York. Served in the Civil War twice. First enrolled on July 28, 1862 and discharged February 14, 1863. Second enrollment was January 31, 1864 and discharge was June 22, 1865. First enrollment Company E, 126th Regiment of New York Infantry. Second enrollment Company E, 4th Regiment of New York City.
