My Great Grandmother was Tennessee Prater, Born 1921 in Kentucky. I Believe her maiden name was Sargent. She became a Prater by Marrying James L Prater. My Grandmother on my Dad's side is Nora Ivy Prater, their daughter. My Father says she was of Cherokee descent but we have no information to back that theory. I'm Looking for any information that anyone might be able to share.
