I am trying to get in touch with 'batunks' who posted information about Charles Richard Pracy (1884-1927). I noticed that he has an incorrect record. Charles Richard Pracy married Rachel Bryden Ballantyne (1887-1986) but she did not marry Frances William Naylon that was my aunt - also Rachel Bryden Ballantyne (1904 - 1988?)
I am Rachel's (the first) brother James Watson Ballantyne's granddaughter (Marie Elizabeth Hutchison nee Leer) and I remember Auntie Rachel visiting at times as she was then minding her granddaughter, Janice
The other Rachel was called Rae - not Rachel.
Hope this will clear up that confusing as I couldn't connect to 'batunks'
Marie

Hi Janice,
Are you the girl who stayed with my parents in Gladesville sometimes - the one I doubled on the back of my pushbike to go to see Aunty Rae at Greenwich?

Yes, Janice - great to hear from you after all this time - must be sixty something years, isn't it?
If you want my e-mail address it is marie.hutchison@printtradefinishers.com and I promise to answer. Sorry, I meant to say - yes you can put e-mail addresses on the site - as I've done it before.
Ancestry is really good. I've even been in contact with a fifth(?) cousin in Scotland and when two of my cousins and I went over there, she took us to where our great-great (I think it was) grandfather had lived and around all the others' houses and to the various cemetaries. She had no record of our great grandfather - James Watson Ballantyne - except for his name so a lot of information was passed both ways.
Best wishes,
Marie
