Hi Cathy!
I've done a lot of research regarding surname Pozek. During my research I have come across Rudolf (Rudolph in English) Pozek b. 20 Mar 1867. So here is what I got. Please not that all names are in Latin except Franciska Pozeg.
1.generation (brothers and sisters, I don’t know who their parents were)
•Mathias Pozeg, b. 31 Jun 1830 in Adlesici 9 (the handwriting was bad so it is possible that he was born on 21 Jan 1830)
•Nicolaus Pozeg, b. 1 Oct 1834 in Adlesici 9
•Catharina Pozeg, b. 14 Oct 1837 in Adlesici 9
•Barbara Pozeg, b. 5 Aug 1841 in Adlesici 9, d. 29 Sep 1892
2.generation
In 1857 Nicolaus Pozeg married Maria Pozeg (her maiden name), b. 27 Jan 1840 (27 Jun 1840 also possible) in Purga 5 (a village just next to Adlesici). Nicolaus died on 11 Jan 1917 and Maria died on 23 Feb 1905.
Their children (all born in Adlesici 9):
•Catharina Pozeg, b. 10 Nov 1863
•Maria Pozeg, b. 3 Dec 1865
•Rudolphus Pozeg, b. 20 Mar 1867
•Joanna Pozeg, b. 16 May 1870 (moved to USA)
•Antonia Pozeg, b. 1 Jun 1873, d. 23 Sep 1873
•Ferdinandus Pozeg, b. 7 Feb 1875, d. 22 Nov 1878
•Nicolaus Pozeg, b. 14 Jul 1877, d. 23 Nov 1878
•Franciska Pozeg (I don’t know the English name), b. 31 Jan 1880 (moved to USA)
3.generation
In 1891 Rudolphus Pozek married Magdalena Jankovic, b. 15 Sep 1866 in Sela 17. Rudolphus Pozek died on 8 Jun 1914.
Their children:
•Rudolf (Rudolph) Pozek, b. 20 Dec 1892 in Adlesici 9
•Nikolaj (Nicholas) Pozek, b. 14 Oct 1895 in Adlesici 9
That’s all I’ve found. One more thing – surname Pozek was Pozeg in mid 19th century. You can change Pozeg to Pozek if you want to. And please excuse my English if there are any mistakes.
Hopefully my info will help you.
