G'day. My name is Ross Pozar. I live on the Gild Coast in Queensland Australia. Us Pozars are a rear bread so we gotta stick togethher. I think my wife and I are the only ones in my state. My father and his family moved to australia from a town called Fuime/Italy or Ryjeka/Croatia as refugees, after world war 2. They consider themselves Italian but the origin of the name is kinda confused? Maybe someone can convince me of the true origin of my name. Nice talkin to you Pozar.

Hello down there. I live in Iowa, in the United States. My husband is a Pozar, descended from Joseph Pozar, son of Jozef Pozar and Josephine Koluza. Joseph was born 1 Mar 1880 in St. Peters, Slovenia; lived in Euclid, Ohio most of his life. Other children were James, Francka and Maria. I believe Maria's family settled in South America. Could the Italy confusion relate to the different "ownership" of the countries as a result of the various wars? Some of my documentation says Yugoslavia/Italy.
