I have a database of the Poxons of Weston-on-Trent and Diseworth. There are gaps. Is anyone else researching these families?

I can go back to a Joseph Poxon born to John Poxon and Hannah Mather who were married on 24.1.1821 in Barrow upon Trent, Derbyshire. Joseph was one of Nine known childen and baptised on 13.7.1823 in Weston-on-Trent, Derbyshire. He is recorded as a furnace worker per the 1861 census. He married Eliza Adkin (I think this was her name)? around 1858. They had 7 known children one of whom was William Poxon also born in Weston-on-Trent. They had 5 known children including my great grandfather John Joseph Poxon born about 1882 who married Agnus Ethel Bailey and they had 5 known children one of whom was my late grandad Thomas Kitchener Poxon Snr.
Hope this helps?

Hi, I am not sure if you are the same Mark who contacted me quite some time ago so if you are then I still only have the info you gave me back then on my family history of the Poxon's in Derbyshire. I think we got in touch on Genes reunited? At the time, I was searching for my Grandad's sister Margaret who passed away recently. My grandad was Thomas Kitchener Poxon Snr born to Joseph & Agnes who moved from Derbyshire to Yorkshire when my Grandad was a youngster. I stopped searching when Great aunt Margaret became ill as it was for her really but I would like to pick it back up. I am new to Ancestry UK.
I would be greatful if you have any more info.

Hi Liesa
I think Joseph Poxon (bap. 13 Jul 1823 Weston-upon-Trent) married Eliza Adkin in 1845 (marriage registered in Shardlow). Their son William (b abt 1858) married Maria Collyer (b abt 1858 Kins Newton, Derbyshire) in 1877 (marriage registered in Shardlow). John Joseph Poxon was born 1883 in Stanton-by-Bridge, Derbyshire.
Joseph Poxon (bap, 1823) died on 19 Feb 1900 in Derby. John Joseph Poxon (b 1883) died in 1946 in Bradford, Yorkshire. His wife Agnes died in 1972 in Bradford.
Hope this is of interest.
Regards

Hi Bill
I think Alice b 1842 Weston-on-Trent is the daughter of James Poxon b abt 1804 Grimsby, Lincolnshire and Mary Broadhead b abt 1805 Nottingham, who married on 6 June 1827 in Weston-on-Trent.
Alice had five siblings that I'm aware of: Elizabeth chr 14 Jan 1828, Mary chr 8 Aug 1830, John b abt 1835, Ann b abt 1839, James b 1844.
Please let me know of any errors.
Regards
Mark Poxon

Hi Mark
Agree with what you say. Alice chr 14 Jan might have been born previous Dec? Is Thomas Poxon b1780 in Shardlow Derby
the father of James b Grimsby 1805? Are Thomas b1756 Breaston and Ann Taft b abt1755 Grimsby m 30 Oct 1777 Weston on Trent the parents of Thomas b1780?
Regards Bill
