Hi Gaynor,
I've been trying to contact you on and off for a while. We last had contact in 2002 regading Povall family. My grandmother was Elsie Povall of Wallasey Cheshire. She was descended from Joseph Povall of Bunbury. I can't access your tree in Ancestry unless i pay a subscription and I've already subscribed to Findmypast which gives access to bmd and census records. Having now retired, money is a bit short!! Can you send me a copy of your tree via e-mail so I can see where we are at. I am at Chester record office at the moment and I'm researching around 1630 at present.
Best wishes Lin Corker

I have 11 generations of Povalls going back to Charles Povall 1686 in Stoke, near Chester, England.

gg-grandfather, William Harold Povall(b. 1875 Birkenhead, Cheshire, England d. 1940 Pleasantville, Westchester, NY) married Emma L. Krahe, they had 7 children (5 sons, 2 daughters) raised them in Brooklyn, NY.
