Does anyone have any info on Griffin Poucher. He was my gggrandfather. His wife's name was Ella V. Washhington. The only information I have on him is that he lived in Pine Plains New York in 1880. As far as I know he only had 2 daughters Florence and Mary who was my ggrandmother. Thanks Jodie

Our ggrandfather Charles Poucher lived within a mile or 2 of Pine Plains.Had 3 daughters Violet, Carrie and Grammy Ruth Elizabeth 11/03/1904. She didn't know much about family as her mother (Liota) died around 1908 and neighbors raised her. My mother-in-law remembers him as Pouchie. She has a line on Violets son who has done some research so I may find out more soon. Too close to be a coincidence. Good luck. Debbie

My grandmother is Gladys Poucher Overstreet. Her father was Arthur Adam Poucher Sr. (b. 10/1883) and her mother was Amy Sophronia Benoist Poucher. Arthur's parents were a William or Joseph Poucher and Melissa Phillips. If anyone has anymore info, I'd appreciate it since it seems we're all related.

Hi Becky My name is Larry. I have two nettie pouchers in my family line. One was ephraim w. poucher's daughter the other was his sister. i have info this line if they relate to who you are looking for . Both netties have passed.

Larry, After speaking with my mom about the Poucher family,as it is her line, she told me that the Nettie Poucher, daughter of Ephraim; had 3 sisters- Eleanor, Doris, and Patricia; as well as 1 brother- Frank. Frank lived in Montana and is deceased. This Nettie died within the last 5 years. My mother is unsure if there were other brothers or sisters, but those are the ones she remembers clearly. This Nettie was also married several times, one of those marriages was to Robert George Stewart, of which my mother and her brothers were the by products. This is about all I know of the Poucher family history. If this is part of your Poucher line, I'd appreciate hearing from you again. Sincerely, Becky Grinnell
