Searching for more info on the pedigree of Arcadio Posada, b 1901 in Mexico, m 1923 to Concepcion Chavez of Aguascalientes. M 2nd to Cruz Lomelli of Aguascalientes. I have his father as Simon and mother Longinas Martinez but know nothing else. Can you help? Thanks!

Dear Carol,
Is this Carol Ingram inquiring? It looks like you may know more than I do about my grandfather's lineage. Please get back to me.

Dear Carol,
Did you get my previous message?

My father inlaw had at least one brother, born in Mexico, about the time/year mentioned. Would be wonderful to pass any info on to our children, who know very little about g'father who died in the 60's in Texas - a town right on/near the border with Mexico- I cannot think of the name of it right now. Any info you share would be appreciated. He married Ramona Martinex, born in Monterray, Mexico and later moved to Crystal City, Texas where they had a son and two daughters. Thanks & have a great day.

Whoops! Father in law married Ramona Martinez, not Martinex. (Typo)

Did you find any information? Interestingly, my father's in law was Juan Posada. I thought he was born in Mexico. Passed away some years ago (perhaps 20) in the State of Texas. Married Ramona Gonzalez who was born in Monterray, Mexico, also now deceased (1996). Don't know much about family history but would be interested in finding any info. I've always assumed that Juan was born in Mexico but may incorrect. Could/will check with sisters in law for info, but that's a touchy subject with in-laws since their father left their mother when they were small children. Juan would have been beyond age 60 at the time he died. He remarried in the 1960's, I believe, to a woman of Spanish descent in the state of Texas. I have been unable to find social security records for him. He worked for many years at Chrysler in the state of Ohio. Please let me know if you have any further information. Thanks & have a great weekend. carol posada

The Concepcion Chavez I'm researching arrived in E. LA in the 20's also, and she had 10 children with Arcadio Posada.. She died 23 Nov 1938 in Los Angeles. Please contact me if this is the same woman.

My mother's maiden name was Posada, had a brother named Juan, as mentioned on one of your posts, but, who are looking for, Juan or Arcadio? We may be on the right track, here. Mom used to talk to us about her family and I have alot of names and info, but she never spoke about an Arcadio. Their father's name was Emeterio Posada and their mother Dolores Nanez. If you are Tito's wife contact me, I'll be more than happy to share with you! Carmen (Posada) Puente

My grandmother was Maria Cruz Lomeli. She was married to Arcadio Posada, who was, as I have been told, a widower and started a second family with my grandmother and they reused his children's names from his previous family.
