My name is Jessica Pope Shultzaberger and I am having a hard time locating information on my Pope family line. I have traced back as far as Richard J Pope 1780-1855 Sampson County, Nc. My grandfather was Joseph Mack Pope Sr. and his father was Laudy Leon Pope, his father is Joseph Albert Pope, his father Richard B. Pope, and then finally Richard J Pope. I really want to find out what country my family line came from. Any help or information would be great. thanks.
