My grandmother (Una Nettie Pope1914-1991) married my grandfather(Wesley Eugene Pope 1908-1980). Una's parents were Rosa Elma Tucker(?-1930) and William Mark Pope. Wesley's parents were Nettie Lenora Strickland (1882-1936) and George Wesley Pope(1868/88/80-1909). GWP died soon after Wesley was born and Nettie remarried J.T. Tucker in 1916. All families are from around Marengo co. Alabama except I'm not sure about George. I don't think Nettie &J.T. had any children.I can't find any info on George Wesley.
