I am tracing Harriet Pook who married John Matthews in Lopen in 1845. Their descendant came to Australia and settled in Narromine NSW. Any one with info that would like to share with me, please contact me at kshepherd189@hotmail.com.
Thanks

Thank you for the info. We didn't have any info on Harriet Pook. This has been a great help in our research. Now we have dates we can order the certificates.

Thanks for that posting Terry. It helped to tie up a loose end for me that is many years old. Joseph Cree of Bolsover DBY married a Mary as his thrid wife and she gave her birth place as Sth Petherton in the 1881 Census. I traced their marriage to Cardiff (FreeBMD) which gave me her surname as Pook. Now I have her birth and baptism record, with parents' details, as she was your Harriot's sister Sarah Pook.

Best Wishes, Mike Spathaky, Cree One-name Study www.cree.name.

Many thanks for that, Mike, Every little helps. Although FREEBMD has the marriages,I find the females the hardest to identify from which family they come from.
