I am looking for any information related to Joseph Ponak. He was born May 22 1878 in Hungary. He immigrated to Alpha, NJ through Montreal in 1907.

He was married in 1910 or 1911 in Phillipsburg, NJ. He married Katherine Meszaros, also from Hungary. He lived in the Harpersville, OH area in 1912 and moved to MI by 1915.

In 1918 he was living in Genessee Co, MI. He also lived in Detroit (Delray). He left his family and was eventually divorced. He died in Iosco Co, MI around the 1950s.

His father, also Joseph Ponak, lived in Veszprem, Hungary.

His children were Joseph Ponak Jr, Alice (Kocsis) and Irene (Sparr).

There is an Eva Ponak born 25 May 1911 in Barton, Belmont Co., OH. She died 26 May 1911 in Colerain, Belmont Co., OH.
She was buried 27 May 1911.
Her parents were Joseph Ponak and Catherine Mesaros
