I was surprised to find 2 Pomfrets here when I came in 89. One was a Terry Pomfret..no longer in the phone book, who had ( may still have) a bug-terminating business. I didn't follow through with him because I know I have no relatives in the States.
The other was the husband of Josephine. I wrote him since I knew he was from Detroit was elderly...there was a possibility he had met my grandfather in the 20s or 30s.

He never replied, don't know why.

I think he has been dead for some time. As I said Josephine died in, I think, December.
She was supposed to be civically involved here so there may be some Herald-Tribune of Sarasota (local newspaper) archives with her name in them. Her death must be recorded somewhere. Maybe Michigan.

I have to go to Califirnia for my nephew's wedding today but will try to track Terry down for you when I return. Also there is a Pomfret patient at my eye doctor's and they always ask me which one I am..I will check her out too.....or maybe that was Josephine too...
