PLATTSBURGH — Marian P. Pombrio, 66, of Quarry Road, Plattsburgh, died Thursday, March 15, 2001, at her home.
She was born in Chazy on Dec. 13, 1934, the daughter of Lawrence and Grace (Brault) Baker.
Marian worked at Plattsburgh State University as a secretary.
She married David Pombrio at St. Peter's Church in 1954.
Marian was a very active parishioner at St. Peter's Church.
Survivors include her husband, David, of 46 years; three sons and one daughter-in-law, John and Donna Pombrio of Groton, Conn., Richard Pombrio of Champlain and James Pombrio of Lodi, N.J.; two daughters and one son-in-law, Patricia and Luke Dyer of Erie, Pa., and Susan Pombrio of Plattsburgh; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, March 18, 2001, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Peter's Church.
Burial will take place in the spring in St. Peter's Cemetery.
Donations in her memory may be made to Hospice Care of the North Country.
