Thanks Pam, I'll have to keep searching deeper to find out about my mom's side of the family. I wish I had learned more about her ancestry before she passed away. Thanks again, Hells :)

Hi Pam: while searching the web noted your post. Grandpa Joseph had a brother John Pombo who had 3 sons. Louie, Manuel and John they lived in Dixon, Ca. John Pombo Sr. was married to Mary Azevedo Pombo, your Grand mother's sister. Mary was hospitalized at Napa, Ca. until she died a few years before her sister. Double check on the Manuel and Louie being brothers. I am sure there was not a Louie: brother to Joseph.

John Peters is a cousin and he was married to Wilhelmina Silva and they lived in Oakland. He was a Pombo, but changed his name after he came to California. They had a few children. Dorothy, Robert, Betty Dolor, Frank and Florence. Very nice people as I remember them.

All is well here. I am in search of my family. Good luck to you. Aunt Ella nanadear@inreach.com

Hello....not sure if we've had contact as my memory is poor. I'm the wife of one of John and Wilhelmina Peters' grandchildren and trying to find family connections for him. His father is Robert. Would be interested in exchanging or hearing about any history or information on the family.
