MyAunt was Christina POMAVILLE, nee Wishart, born in Scotland, parents Charles Wishart and Catherine Jamieson Wishart (nee MacMillan) who married in Glasgow in 1899. They went to USA in Sept 1907 via Ellis Island. I also found where she was buried and a little info about her family. I have copies of various records etc if anyone is interested.

Hi, I believe she married Victor Pomaville. I have been in touch with John Small, who is also from down the Pomaville line, if you look at his postings you may find some further info.

Anna, I am a grandson of Christina and Victor Pomaville. I am interested in finding out information on Wishart side. All i have ever known growing up is that she came to Michigan through NY from Scotland. What information do you have that i could trace back a couple of generations.

I am grandson of Victor's brother Henry

Hello Kevin, welcome to the family, it's getting bigger by the day. Christina (your grandmother) was my Aunt. Her brother Charles was my father (he had a late family starting when he was aged 54) when he returned to the UK, I was born in 1957. You can contact me directly if you wish, may be you can give me some info to. I am glad John (Small) got in touch also, he has so much info. My email is oconnorav@yahoo.com.
