Hi Lisa,

My great Grandmother was the daughter of David Pomerville/Pominville born in 1880. I have a list of his children but there is no Joseph mentioned. His father, grt Grandfather, and grt grt Grandfather were all Joseph's. I don't know if this helps or not. I am just finally getting hits on this side of the family and will send you anything I have if that would be okay.
I have also come across a new spelling for the family name but have not been able to verify it (Palmerville)

Hi Cindy- Would you mind sharing that list of David Pomaville's children to see if my grandfather is one of his children? Also, I know that the David I'm looking for had 2 wives one of which was Victoria Schmidt. I'm not positive of the spelling. Thank-you

Bonjour John,

As you can guess, Joseph is a very popular first name amongst decendants of french-canadian origin. If you can find the family name of his wife Delila, that might be helpful.

Au revoir,

That's all the information I have. I'm hoping someone might be researching this person.

Joseph Pominville married Adelaide (Delia was her nickname)
Senet on February 21, 1843 in Harrison Twp., Macomb Cty. Michigan.

Joseph, born October 27, 1821 was the son of Joseph Pominville (b. May 11, 1791) and Susanne Rivard (b. March 23, 1795).

Adelaide, born November 4, 1823, was the daughter of Ignatius (Ignace) Senet (b. March 28, 1794) and Genevieve (Genevava) Saucier (b. May 4, 1798).

Hope this helps, Beck

Bonjour Rebecca,

Joseph Pominville and Suzanne Rivard are in my TO_BE_LINKED file of Braults; we find them in the French families of Detroit but are still unable to link this Joseph with his parents.

In your message, you indicate that Joseph was born 11 may 1791, I would like to know where did you get that information and if you know where he was born ?

Au revoir,

Still trying to find the right Joseph.Did this Joseph marry a Catherine (Mager) who might have been a widow or divorced from Louis Schroeder and did he die before 1902?
