Surnames: POMAVILLE
Looking for the father of Ronald POMAVILLE born 3 Feb 1917 in Michigan, and his wife and or children.

In the 1920 US Census for Detroit MI, he is living with his mother, Minnie H., born about 1901 in Ohio, divorced, and Minnie's parents, Charles Shaeffer born about 1866 in Germany and Mary, born about 1873 in Switzerland. His surname was mispelled as PAMOLEY.

In the 1930 US Census for Flint MI, he is living with his mother Minnie and her new husband, Elliot CHILDS, born about 1904 in MA. Here his surname is spelled correctly as POMAVILLE.

In the SSDI, he is listed as dying 11 Mar 2003 in Bay City MI.

Any info at all that can help me place him would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Garrett-

Thanks for responding to my postings. I know exactly who you are because of my research on the Pomaville surname. Your reply is extremely helpful because it backs up what I have learned since my original post. Someone was able to provide me with a copy of an obit of Ronald's and I was able to fill in the blanks from that.

If you would care to correspond any more to learn more about my research, please feel free to contact me via my personal e-mail (johnwi62@yahoo.com). My mom is a Pomaville by birth and that's why I have the strong interest in the family.

Thanks & SISU!

(p.s.: BTW, you and I are 4th cousins, once removed. I'm also interested on the surname Caruso. js)
