I need some information from you. Please e-mail me at M3nsan@yahoo.com. I would like a short summation of the events between you and Lana Smith on the day of your departure luncheon from Ft. Meade, Md in January of 1976.

I am from New York and know several other Pomales' in the New York area. I am currently building a family tree for my son and am hoping to connect us all. If you would like please view my tree as it is Public and let me know if we have anyone in common.

If you are on facebook there is a Pomales family group. The people on there are from all over the world and together we are trying to fit all the pieces together. I know it doesn't directly answer you question but it may be easier for you to find the connections you are looking for if you access to over 200 Pomales instead of just a few. Hope this helps.

This
is the Family Crest for Pomales: Spelling variation of this family name
include: Pomar, Poumar, Pomier, Pomares, Pumar,Pumarin, Pumares etc.
History of the family, first found in Aragon an ancient Kingdom of
Spain. It has been suggested the Pomales surname branched to Aragon,
establishing themselves in a place that
came to be known as Pomar, in Sariena Huesca, Spain. Some of the firsts
settlers of this family name, the earliest on record was Alonso De
Pomareda, who arrived in Peru in 1570.And Picido del Pumar de
Gutirrez de la Vega (circa 1680 in Santillana del Mar, Santander, Spain)
migrated to Barinas, Venezuela toward the end of the 17th century.Jos
Ignacio del Pumar (1738 - 1814) Marquis of the Riveras del Bocono and
Knight of the order of Charles III was founder of towns of Guasdualito,
San Jacinto and La Yuca all in Venezuela. And then there was Attillo
Pomare who was Naturalized in Ashtabula County in Ohio between the
years 1875 and 1906. Just a little history of the Pomales Family... Oh
one more thing the reason why the crest has apples is because that where
the Name originated from the fruit the Apple in French is Pomme. (from APom)
