Looking for any info on Ferdinand (Fred) Polacek b.1862 who immigrated to NY in 1902. He was a widower with two daughters, Mary b.abt 1892 and Amelia b.abt 1894.

1910, 1920, 1930 census each show birthplace(s) as Slovakia.

Mary married Frank Blazicek and they had 9 children: Frank Jr, Stephen, Rudolph, Stephanie, Minnie, Louis, William, Albert, and Joseph.

I don't know what happened to Amelia. Fred lived with Mary and her family at least until 1930 which is the last census avail.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Mary's and Frank's state marriage application and church marriage record should have a place of birth.
No doubt, your research will be in Slovak Republic.
