Sorry I don't have any information for you. But maybe you could help me. I am trying to find information on an Elizabeth Koczak Borsos Menyah (aka Anna Koczakova Borsos Menyah) 1864-1923. She was born in Austria. I am looking for any siblings she may have had or information on her parents. Thank you

Tracey, my Koczakova roots go back to early 1700's in Gbely (only about 75 mi NE of Vienna). In the Gbely history the spelling is "Kocak" A "z" was supposedly indicative of Magyar influence. The archivist who researched Bratislava files for me used "cz" consistently. It is a confusing can of worms, but I assume the archivist knows more than I.

When did Stefan come to the USA? Is it possible that any brothers or other family came with him? I am looking for information on Samuel Polacek(also spelled Polachek) who lived in the Chicago area in early 1900's. Born circa 1880.

Hi Gloria! I do not have a connection between Elizabeth Koczak and Antonette Koczak, but I will email all the information I have on Elizabeth and maybe we can start to make a connection from there. Tracey

My great grandfather was Michael Kocak and he was from Austria. He was born 11/1865 and I am looking for his parents and siblings. He married Johanna Rozboril also from Austria. One of their grandchildren heard Michael was a judge and his father was a mayor of their town. He came to US 1887-1888 and settled in Binghamton NY where he lived and died. If you know of a Michael as a sibling to Elizabeth, please let me know. Thank you. Judy
