My grandfather was Josephat Poirier, born in Nova Scotia. His family lived in San Francisco in the 1920's when he met and married my grandmother, I know one of his brothers had a barber shop in San Francisco. He lost a hand before WWI. He was in the 8th Calvary, He and my grandmother were divorced before 1930. He shows up in two VA hospitals with TB. He died in North Carolina at the Veteran's hospital in Salsbury, and he is buried at the VA cemetary there. He was married and seperated from Aline Poirier at the time of his death. I am trying to find out if I have any uncles or cousins on that side of my family.
