Is there anybody doing research into the POILE family tree?

Re: Others Doing Research
I am looking for descendents of the Poiles living in Salehurst and SHoreham, Sussex (England) in 19th century.

Re: Others Doing Research
Just seen your message I do not believe I have any information about Poile's in Salehurst or Shorham, Sussex, England, but will do a double check. My Poile's are in Northiam, Sussex around 19th Century. But before that came from Ebony/Stone, Kent, England.

Re: Others Doing Research
Currently do not have any of these POILEs in my tree but have not done a lot of work on the POILEs that possibly emigrated to USA yet. DO you have any other information that may enable me to tie them down a bit more.

Re: Others Doing Research
Not much other than what I poseted. I can look though.

Re: Others Doing Research
Hi. I have quite extensive history of Poile family tree from early 1800's (mostly they were from Kent/Sussex UK) and have found relatives in as far flung areas as Canada, America and Australia). Will be happy to let you know who/where/when. Regards,
Richie.

Yes, on-going research on the Poile, Poil, Poyle name. As my gr,gr,gr grandfather was William Poile (Poil) born to Jane Poile in Kent, England. William born 22 Oct 1811. William and wife Harriot Care came to the USA abt 1852. Interesting fact about William is that his last name was listed as Pail one one occasion, asumming that the official writing it had no idea how to spell Poile. I would like to hear from everyone that is researching the "poile" name. Maybe we can tie up some of the loose ends. Carol
