I am researching the early Wereley/Werley/Werely line, and have seen the entry of Mary Werely, b. 13 Dec. 1776 as the spouse of Daniel Poapst. In some instances, including the web-published Poapst Family Tree, she is referred to as "Mary Wardle," which is a common British name. Can anyone shed any light on this? Is there any documentation, such as a Church record or Birth Record or grave stone that can bear out one or the other? Many thanks!
