I am searching for any information that anyone may have about my great grandmother Anna Plzak. All I know is that she was born in Bohemia (Czechoslovakia) and died in the 1950's in Illinios. If you have any information, please email me. Thank you.

Corey,
I may be able to help...do you have any more info about Anna or her family? Have you found what you were looking for? I have an Anna Plzak in my family from the Chicago area.

Lenora, Thank you for responding. Anna Plzak was my mothers step-grandmother. Plzak was her maiden name. She married someone named Goldberg first, then was married a second time...I think to my great-grandfather, a man named Kozak. She died in 1956. Unfortunately, that is all of the information we have. Any similarity to the Anna Plzak in your family? Thank you for your help! Corey :-)

Corey,
So far no... My Anna Plzak died in 1955 but Plzak was her married name. It is not a common name so we may still turn something up! :-)

I am a Plzak, There is and Anna Plzak that was married to a great uncle of mine,James Plzak. Born in Bohemia in the 1880's. They had at least 3 children, Frank, Bessie, and Lillian. I have also been searching for info on the Plzak name. My grandfather was Frank Plzak, brother of James. Both came over from Czechoslovakia in 1904. I believe John and Cessie were their parents names. I hope this is helpful. Please reply to let me know.

jillbillie: I am the granddaughter of Lillian. There was a third sister who died in a fire when she was a child. I have an old photo of the three girls somewhere.
