CHILLICOTHE: William C. Plyley, 86, of Chillicothe, Ohio died 10 p.m. Monday, October 22, 2012 in the Chillicothe VA Medical Center following an extended illness.

He was born March 14, 1926, in Richmond, Indiana to the late Lewis and Nettie Mae Skinner Plyley.
On November 15, 1978, he married the former Roberta "Kay" Thompson who died August 24, 1995.

Surviving are daughters, Rhonda (Jeff) Martin and Katrina (Bill) Bonner, both of Chillicothe, Ohio; grandchildren, Klarissa (Dave) Downard, Justin Davis, Bill Bonner III, Tyler Martin, Katelyn Martin and Christopher Plyley; a great granddaughter, Virginia Elaine Mae Bonner; and special friends, Glenn and Carol.

He was predeceased by a brother, Clinton Plyley and sisters, Freida, Maxine and Geneva.

Bill served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II. He was a member of VFW Post 108 and American Legion Post 62. Bill was an avid fisherman.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, October 26, 2012 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Don Mundy officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens where military graveside rites will be conducted by the Ross County, Ohio Veterans Honor Guard.
Friends may call at Ware's one hour prior to the service on Friday.
