There is a Plowman Family reunion at Douds , Iowa September 3rd, beginning at 10:00AM with a potluck at noon. The location is the Douds Field Day Grounds, one block East of Main Street, turn by the Grocery Store. This is for all descendants of Thomas Plowman clockmaker of Cawood, Yorkshire England. Thomas was born in Wigginton Yorkshire in 1849, came to USA in 1829 and died in Gibson Co. Ohio in 1849. His wife was Sarah Smith and some of the surnames are Badgly, Milner, Nason and Ratcliff.
