There is a very real chance of human error at Familysearch.org. If they are working from original records they may be difficulty in reading the handwriting. I have certainly come across records that do not tie up with other records on the Internet. Short of doing all the research yourself, you are very dependent on the dedication, accuracy and attention to detail of the researcher.
