Buried in Newark NJ around 1925. Was married to 3 different men, one of which was my great grandfather Samuel NMI Mayer. When he died, she married ? Burch. He ran away and she married ? Hazzard. They were originally from Burslem England and she migrated to Linden NJ after my grandfather, Leonard NMI Mayer, a son migrated here around 1906. I have no idea who her parents were. The Mayer family in Burslem goes back 700 years.

My great grandmother was Edith Plimbley born in 1881 in Bridgnorth, Shropshire. She and her parents moved to the Stoke area (Tunstall?) some time prior to 1900 when she married John Stanyer in Tunstall. I don't know if this helps you!

In 1881 census Edith Plimbley (age 2 months) is living with Grandparents Charles and Mary A Hayes (both 50) at 9 Whitburn Street, Bridgnorth St Leonard, Shropshire. Charles and Mary have 2 sons living with them John J (21) and James (17). Edith's mother is Ellen Plimbley (25) married but no mention of husband. Edith has an elder sister Mary E (2) born Hanley, Staffs. Hanley is about 2 miles from Burslem, Staffs both now part of the city of Stoke on Trent, Staffs. Mary A Hayes born Newbury, Berks, remainder all born Bridgnorth, Shropshire.
