Looking for information on THOMAS EDWARD PLATNER, an African-American, who died November 27, 1905. He was in the 54th Massachusetts, Civil War. At one time he was head waiter at the Woodruff Hotel in Watertown, New York. He was a member of the Utica Lodge, F. and A.M. and was at one time master. He also lived in Rochester, New York. A stained glass window is dedicated to him in the A.M.E. Zion Church, Rochester, New York.
He had a daughter, Mrs. Anna Stockton.
