Recently I spoke with your dad, Dickie, after he read my letter concerning the Plake Family in the Buna Beacon. I am your cousin with ancestors on the Plake and Dryden sides of the family through my mother, Ethel Lee Plake Youngman. Her parents were Perry Houston Plake and Ada Addnail Dryden. I have done extensive research on Ancestry.com which I will be happy to share with you if you are not already a member. Just let me know.
Also, your Dad told me he'll be up to see you in September and promised to get together with me to show me his family pictures and genealogical research. I live in Garland, so you and I are very near one another. When he comes up (or before) I would love to invite all your family to meet with me and my family so I can scan photos, record your Dad's hilarious stories about family, and generally make a great family connection.
