So happy to know that we are very closely related. I wrote to Dave several weeks ago but he hasn't answered me yet. Get after him for me. lol
I have lots of info that I will be happy to share with you and I would love more info on the Sterwold family. We must figure out this problem with the pix and I will ask around too. I keep in touch with Dolores very often, she lives on the east coast and I live on the west coast of Florida. Are you still in Ohio? Betty

Hi my family still lives in ohio but my cousens on the phacke side live in illinous and michigan. In your first message you had said that Mary Bonholt was from Voltlage, Hanover. How did you find that out? I just know that she had 5 brothers and or sisters and she immigrated in 1855. I want to go to st.Henry ohio to see Rudolph's farm and maby find more about him. If i found out where he was from in germany I might be able to find out his father or mother. I did find out that rudolph had an older sister named Dorethea Luisa Frederike Placke.

Erik, I have several relatives that have been working with me on the Placke family and we welcome you into the fold. We have several resource places that we research and if you will write to me at Bettylk3829@aol.com, I will share all the information I have. You will love going to St. Henry to do some of your research. I did that about 10 years ago and took lots of pix of different grave markers. I'm so proud of you for getting involved in genealogy. We have a heritage to be proud of. Betty
